BF2055 Extended-Neck T-Slot Cutter is a solid carbide groove-milling tool for machining T-slots and undercuts after an access path has been prepared. The reduced neck provides clearance behind the cutting head for recessed features that a standard end mill cannot reach.

Choose enough neck clearance and reach for the undercut.
Use the shortest practical reach to improve rigidity.
Machining Note
An extended, reduced neck is less rigid than a standard end mill. Use a secure setup, minimize tool overhang and begin with conservative feed and engagement. Adjust cutting conditions to the selected size, workpiece, machine rigidity and coolant or air-blast arrangement.
