Recommended workpiece materials — BK2055
Stainless steel, carbon steel and alloy steel up to HRC 45. A general-purpose carbide grade built for everyday milling, drilling and tapping where toughness and edge stability matter more than hot hardness.
For CNC / machine thread forming. Use suitable lubricant and select speed according to thread size, workpiece material, pilot hole and machine conditions. The original reference range shown for this product is 500–800 rpm.
