Straight Flute
Straight-flute reamers emphasize stable guidance and a simple, rigid cutting geometry. They are suitable where straightforward chip flow and dimensional control are the main priorities.
Spiral Flute
Spiral-flute reamers use a helical flute path to influence chip movement and cutting smoothness. They can be preferable where chip direction or cutting continuity is important.
How to Choose
Do not select by diameter alone. Confirm the complete variant specification, including H8 or H9 series, flute type, tool length, shank size and flute count.
Application Notes
These reamers are used for final sizing of prepared holes. Actual hole result depends on the complete machining system, including pre-hole condition, allowance, tool holding, machine rigidity and cutting parameters.
