180° Solid Carbide Flat-Bottom Drill

Solid-carbide flat-bottom drill for precision hole making on flat, inclined and curved surfaces. The 180° cutting edge is designed to produce a flatter hole bottom and can help reduce burr formation compared with conventional drill geometry.

Applications

• Inclined-surface and curved-surface drilling
• Counterboring and guide holes
• Cross holes and blind-hole preparation
• Correction of hole deviation in selected applications

Cutting Guidance

• Recommended hole depth: about 2×D under suitable conditions.
• For inclined surfaces, reduce feed as inclination increases.
• Use as a drilling tool only; cross-feed and helical milling are not recommended.
• Recommended workpiece hardness: below approximately HRC45.
