Ultra-Fine Grain Carbide Substrate

Manufactured from ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide rod stock. Offers improved toughness and hardness compared to standard carbide grades, enabling smooth and stable cutting at high spindle speeds. Suitable for high-speed milling applications in both steel and non-ferrous materials.

2F / 3F / 4F — Flute Selection Guide

2-Flute: Larger chip clearance volume. Suitable for slotting, light roughing, and machining of softer materials where chip evacuation is critical.

3-Flute: Balanced chip clearance and cutting efficiency. Suitable for step surface milling, shallow groove machining, and applications requiring improved surface finish over 2-flute tools.

4-Flute: Higher cutting efficiency and rigidity. Suitable for flat surface milling, side milling, contour milling, and keyway machining in steel and harder materials. Recommended for finishing passes.

Suitable Processing Methods

— Flat surface milling and side milling
— Slot cutting and U-groove machining
— Spot facing and step surface milling
— Contour milling and keyway machining
— Suitable for CNC machining centers and engraving machines with ER collet chucks

Dual Coating System — AlTiSiN & Mirror Finish

Steel Series (AlTiSiN nano-gray coating): Applied via PVD process. Suitable for direct machining of heat-treated materials up to 58 HRC, from roughing to finishing. Reduces tool change frequency and improves machine utilization. Recommended for iron plate, stainless steel, die steel, and quenched steel.

Aluminum Series (Mirror Gloss coating): Optimized for aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, copper, and other non-ferrous metals. Reduces built-up edge and improves surface finish.

High-Temperature Resistance — Reduced Tool Breakage

High-temperature quenching process applied to the cutting edge improves heat resistance and reduces thermal deformation during continuous cutting. Reduces tool change frequency and improves production efficiency.

Large Core Diameter — Full Grinding Edge

Large core diameter design improves tool rigidity and shock resistance, reducing the risk of tool breakage under high feed rates. Full grinding edge process ensures consistent geometry and tight runout tolerance across all sizes.

Helical Flute — Large Chip Groove Design

Helical flute geometry with widened cutting edge land and large chip groove enables smooth chip evacuation during high-speed cutting. Reduces cutting load and effectively prevents chipping of the cutting edge.

Round Shank — Chamfered for Secure Clamping

Standard round shank with chamfered end. Compatible with ER collet chucks and standard tool holders. Secure clamping without slipping, improving vibration resistance and cutting stability at high spindle speeds.

Usage Recommendations

1. Measure tool runout before use. If runout exceeds 0.01 mm, correct before cutting.
2. Minimize tool overhang from the chuck. Longer overhang requires reduced speed, feed rate, or depth of cut.
3. If abnormal vibration or noise occurs during cutting, reduce spindle speed and cutting parameters until stable.
4. For steel cutting, use spray or mist coolant to improve tool life and surface finish.
5. Not suitable for low-speed machines such as bench drills or hand-held electric drills.
