The feed rate when the tool first engages the material f(mm/ tooth)The feed rate is 70% lower than that during normal thread cutting.
The tool cuts in along the tangential direction of the arc
For example:
Thread cutting feed rate:0.3(mm/ tooth)
Tool engagement feed rate:0.09(mm/ tooth)
