The BF2055 PRO spiral-flute solid carbide reamer is designed for precision finishing of prepared holes in aluminum, aluminum alloys and other relatively low-hardness non-ferrous materials. This series uses spiral flutes and external coolant for smooth cutting, chip control and stable CNC reaming.

How to Choose

Select the nominal diameter according to the required finished hole size. Then choose the length according to hole depth and setup clearance. Avoid unnecessary tool overhang where possible. Before ordering, verify the full variant dimensions and flute count.

Application Notes

This reamer is intended for final sizing and finishing of an existing prepared hole. It is not intended to drill directly into solid material. Reaming allowance, speed, feed and coolant conditions should be determined according to material, machine rigidity and the actual setup.
