TNMG1604 Turning Inserts

60° negative carbide turning inserts for CNC lathe machining, available in TNMG160404 and TNMG160408 sizes with multiple chip breakers and cutting grades.

Material Grades

• BB2055: TiAlSiN-coated grade for stainless steel. BF is suited to finishing and semi-finishing; BM and R-S options provide stronger edges for heavier cutting.
• BKP2055: CVD-coated grade for steel with good wear resistance and toughness. GF is intended for finishing, GM for medium machining and R-S for roughing.
• BL2060: General-purpose grade for broader machining conditions.
• BF2055: Grade for aluminum and non-ferrous machining.
• BK2055-K: CVD-coated grade for cast iron.

Chip Breakers

Available geometries include TM, MA, BM, BF, GM, GF and R-S depending on the selected grade and insert size. Choose the geometry according to workpiece material, cutting depth and required finish.

Selection

Each listed variant is a 10-piece insert pack unless otherwise stated. Select TNMG160404 or TNMG160408 together with the required chip breaker and grade from the variant menu.
