The BF2045 spiral-flute solid carbide reamer is designed for precision finishing and final sizing of prepared holes in aluminum, aluminum alloys, copper and other relatively low-hardness non-ferrous materials. Available in nominal diameters from 9.01–9.99 mm, depending on the selected variant.

How to Choose
Select the nominal diameter according to the required finished hole size. Then choose a length that reaches the machining position while allowing for hole depth and setup clearance. Avoid unnecessary extra reach where possible. Before ordering, verify the complete variant dimensions and flute count rather than selecting by diameter alone.
Application Notes
A reamer is used to finish an existing prepared hole; it is not a substitute for drilling directly into solid material. Reaming allowance, spindle speed, feed rate and coolant conditions should be selected according to the workpiece material, machine rigidity, hole size, hole depth and actual machining setup.
Recommended materials: aluminum, aluminum alloys, copper, copper alloys and similar relatively low-hardness non-ferrous materials.
