Solid Carbide Micro Drill
The drill is made from solid carbide for rigidity and wear resistance. Because micro-carbide tools are brittle and sensitive to runout, use a rigid CNC or precision drilling setup rather than a handheld drill.
Applications:
Steel, stainless steel, cast iron, die steel, circuit board, acrylic and so on.
Shank diameter: confirm the selected variant and product specification before ordering.
Recommended Cutting Conditions
*Reference cutting parameters must be adjusted to the actual workpiece, machine rigidity, toolholder and drilling conditions.
*If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, stop and check runout, clamping and cutting parameters.
*If the machine cannot reach the reference spindle speed, reduce feed proportionally and verify stable cutting.
*Provide adequate coolant to the cutting edge where the application requires it.
*Table parameters are applicable to machining depth smaller than 3xDc. If the depth is greater than 3xDc, reduce the speed by 20%.
*For deeper holes, use a pecking strategy appropriate to the material and diameter. The original reference suggests approximately 0.2–1×Dc per peck, or 0.1–0.2×Dc for diameters below 1mm.
*Keep drill runout below 0.02mm according to the original product guidance.
